On Friday, April 1 during the Ontario game the Reign will be hosting a silent auction in the concourse at section 115.  We will have a game-worn Shawn Germain signed jersey, a LA Kings signed stick, as well as other signed memorabilia.

Please stop by the table in section 115 to place your bids for these signed memorabilia.  The money raised will benefit the Matt Cook Foundation.

Matt Cook was a junior hockey player who lost his leg to the rare form of cancer that also took Canadian legend Terry Fox. Matt was more than just a kid who went through countless surgeries and chemotherapy to eventually fulfill his dream of playing with Canada’s national sled hockey team.  Just before Matt was to head to the Paralympic Games in Vancouver, the doctors gave him the news that the cancer had moved into his lungs. His dream of participating in the games was over, as he passed away on April 4, 2010.

The Matt Cook Charitable Foundation will carry out Matt’s mission to raise awareness and funding to support the fight against rare cancers.
