Reign Host Free Agent Camp September 27-28
Opportunity to Receive Invitation to 2008-09 Reign Training Camp
ONTARIO, Calif.-The Ontario Reign of the ECHL, proud affiliate of the NHL Los Angeles Kings and the AHL Manchester Monarchs, announced t
oday that they will host a free agent camp on Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28.
Players interested in an opportunity to advance their hockey careers are invited to attend the 2008-09 Reign Free Agent Camp held at Center Ice Arena in Ontario, Calif. The open tryout camp offers players the opportunity to show the Reign coaching staff their skills for a chance at receiving an invitation to the 2008-09 Ontario Reign training camp.
Tryout spots are limited to 80 participants and players must be at least 18-years old. Camp registration fee is $75 and includes two on-ice practice sessions and a practice jersey. The on-ice sessions both days begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 12:30 p.m. All practice sessions are open to the public for viewing. Tryouts are on a first-come first-serve basis.

Center Ice Arena is located at 201 S. Plum Ave, east of Euclid Ave and south of Holt Blvd.

Began in 1988-89 with five teams playing in four states, the Premier Hockey League has grown into a coast-to-coast league that will have 23 teams in 16 states and British Columbia playing 828 games from Oct. 17, 2008 to Apr. 4, 2009. Eighteen of the 23 teams have played at least five years in their current city.
The third-longest tenured professional hockey league behind only the National Hockey League and the American Hockey League, the ECHL averaged 4,174 per game last season, marking the fourth year in row and the 16th time in the last 18 years
