WRANGLERS TOP REIGN, 4-1

Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley Raises $25,400 at Game

ONTARIO, Calif. – The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings, raised $25,400 through fundraising efforts for the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley, including a game-worn specialty jersey auction following the team's 4-1 loss to the Las Vegas Wranglers on Saturday night.

Las Vegas accounted for all of the offense in the first two periods.  Vince Bellissimo made it 1-0 in the first period on a wrap-around goal and Ned Lukacevic scored with a snap shot in the second while the Wranglers were on the power play.

The Reign’s Chaz Johnson caused a slight delay in the second period when he bloodied Dan Bertram’s nose in a fight, forcing the ice crew to perform some cleanup duty before play could continue.

Blake Gallagher extended the Wrangler’s lead to 3-0 at 4:14 of the third before Shawn Collymore spoiled the shutout.  Collymore picked up a rebound and did a spin-o-rama move before he buried the puck in the empty side of the net.  But the lead was too much to overcome, as Las Vegas won 4-1 after adding an empty-net goal.

Tonight’s three stars were:
1) LV – Ned Lukacevic
2) LV – Tyler Mosienko
3) ONT – Shawn Collymore

REIGN DROPS
The Reign play three games over the Thanksgiving weekend, with games against the Las Vegas Wranglers Friday & Saturday and the Utah Grizzlies on Sunday.

Friday's game is a special 5 p.m. post-Thanksgiving game, which will feature the team’s first ever

All toys which Reign down on the ice will be donated to David & Margaret Youth and Family Services for distribution to needy children this holiday season.  Fans are welcomed to hurl as many stuffed toys as their arms can handle.  Over 20,000 teddy bears have been collected at similar events. The first 3,000 fans through the door on Friday also receive a "Beat Las Vegas."

The first 3,000 fans in attendance for Saturday's 7 p.m. game will receive a "Beat Las Vegas" Corey Miller collector’s hat, compliments of San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino.

The puck drops at 5 p.m. for Sunday's game against the Grizzlies.
