Carrozzi to Play Between the Posts for Ontario
Former Eagle Re-Assigned to Reign

ONTARIO, Calif.- The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, announce the addition of goal tender Chris Carrozzi to the roster.

Carrozzi, 21, was signed by the ECHL’s Colorado Eagles this season and was re-assigned to the Reign after playing one game with the Eagles.

In his rookie year, last season, Carrozzi played 47 games with the ECHL’s Gwinnett Gladiators and one game with the AHL’s Chicago Wolves. With the Gladiators, the netminder recorded a goals against average of 3.23 and a 0.894 save percentage.

Prior to turning pro, the six-foot-two Nepean, Ontario native played in the OHL for four seasons with the Toronto St. Michael’s Majors and the Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors. Carrozzi’s best season, 2009-10, boasted a 2.36 goals against average and a save percentage of 0.916.

Carrozzi was selected in the sixth round, number 154 overall, by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
