ONTARIO, Calif. – The Ontario Reign of the ECHL, proud affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, announced today that they have
launched their newly updated website www.ontarioreign.com. The Reign’s new site will contain more content, updated features and a fresh, new design. The Reign also announced that they will hold a contest to help promote the launch of the website where fans can enter for the chance at winning two season tickets.
ThE Reign’s updated site greets fans with bold colors, easy to navigate drop down menus and a slide show of current headline news centered across the main screen. Fans will have access once the season begins to audio and video files, including interviews and game highlights, along with an online merchandise store to buy all the latest “Reign Gear”.
“We are excited to launch the re-design of our website,” Executive V.P. of Business Operations Justin Kemp said. “The new ontarioreign.com will provide up-to-the-minute news and information in one easy location for Reign fans. They will be able to view everything from player and team information to interactive content with photo and video galleries.”
Fans can navigate the site to find arena information, parking maps, frequently asked questions and of course, the 2008-09 Reign season schedule. The Ontario Reign community calendar will be the place to check out where the Reign will be in the local area, whether it be player appearances or upcoming events, and the new promotional calendar will offer fans a look at upcoming giveaways and promotional nights.
Reign fans are encouraged to visit the new ontarioreign.com and enter-to-win FREE season tickets to the Reign’s 2008-09 Inaugural Season! With the launch of the re-designed website, the Reign are giving away two (2) Upper End full season tickets in a contest that will run through September 30, 2008. ECHL
Began in 1988-89 with five teams playing in four states, the Premier ‘AA’ Hockey League has grown into a coast-to-coast league that will have 23 teams in 16 states and British Columbia playing 828 games from Oct. 17, 2008 to Apr. 4, 2009. Eighteen of the 23 teams have played at least five years in their current city.
The third-longest tenured professional hockey league behind only the National Hockey League and the American Hockey League, the ECHL averaged 4,174 per game last season, marking the fourth year in row and the 16th time in the last 18 years that the league has averaged over 4,000 fans. The league has drawn over four million fans each of the last five years and 11 times in the past 12 seasons.
