FORWARD KEATON MASTRODONATO RECALLED FROM ECHL’S GREENVILLE
The Ontario Reign announced today that forward Keaton Mastrodonato has been recalled from the Greenville Swamp Rabbits.
Mastrodonato, 25, currently leads Greenville with 15 points (7G, 8A) while he is tied for the club lead in goals and assists. This is his first AHL callup of the season as he signed a one-year AHL contract with Ontario on Aug. 12, 2025.
The Powell River, BC native is in his third professional season having collected four goals in 34 AHL games while accumulating 106 points (50G, 56A) in 124 ECHL contests. He was under an AHL contract with the Colorado last season playing 13 games for the Eagles while tallying 49 points (19G, 30A) in 53 games with Utah in the ECHL. During his rookie campaign in 2023-24 the 6-foot, 205lb right-handed shooting forward was on an AHL contract with Texas scoring four goals in 19 games with the Stars while registering 42 points (24G, 18A) in 48 ECHL games with Idaho.
Prior to professional hockey, Mastrodonato played four seasons at Canisius College from 2019-23 totaling 97 points (46G, 51A) in 123 career games. During his senior season he helped Canisius to an Atlantic Hockey Association Championship while being named to the All-Tournament Team and Third All-Conference Team logging 36 points (16G, 20A) in 42 games. He was selected the Second All-Conference Team in 2021-22 and First All-Star Team (West Pod) in 2020-21. He played parts of three seasons in the BCHL with the Alberni Valley Bulldogs where he was named to the BCHL All-Rookie Team in 2017-18.
