The LA Kings announced today that they have recalled forwards Andre Lee and Taylor Ward from the Ontario Reign. 

Lee, 25, has posted 27 points (15G, 12A) in 32 games with Ontario this season. His 15 goals lead the club and are tied for sixth in the AHL while his 27 points are first among Reign skaters, tied for 10th among AHL skaters. His seven goals on the power-play lead Ontario and are tied for fourth in the league. He has notched 20 points (12G, 8A) in his last 21 games and seven goals in his last eight contests. Ontario is 9-1-11 when he scores this season and 17-2-1-1 when he collects a point. 

Drafted by the Kings in the seventh round, 188th overall, in the 2019 NHL Draft, he played 19 gams with LA last season recording three points (1G, 2A). He made his NHL debut on Oct. 10, 2024 in a 3-1 win at Buffalo, recorded his first point on Oct. 16, 2024 in a 6-2 loss at Toronto, and scored his first NHL goal on Jan. 1, 2025 in a 3-0 win vs. New Jersey. He has spent parts of five seasons with the Reign appearing in 185 games accumulating 71 points (35G, 36A). He signed a two-year contract extension with LA this past March. 

Ward, 27, has posted 21 points (12G, 9A) in 32 games with Ontario this season ranking third on the squad in goals and fifth in points. On two separate occasions this year he has scored in three straight games while he has had three, three-game point streaks. The Reign are 10-1 when he scores a goal and 14-2 when he records a point. 

He scored a goal in his NHL debut last season on Apr. 17, 2025 in a 5-1 loss vs. Calgary, his lone NHL contest of his career. He has spent parts of five seasons with Ontario amassing 116 points (47G, 69A) in 256 games. Undrafted out of the University of Nebraska-Omaha he signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Kings on March 2022 and signed a one-year extension this past July.
